Injuries 4
OutBrandon Ingram
TOR · SF
Heel: A heel spur was removed during the surgery, and Ingram is expected to fully recover and be ready for training camp in September. This heel injury prevented Ingram from playing in the final two games of Toronto's playoff series against the Cavaliers, but by addressing it early in the offseason, his status for 2026-27 won't be in any doubt.
OutChucky Hepburn
TOR · PG
Knee: Hepburn has been out of action since undergoing surgery in early January to repair a torn meniscus. His next chance to play will be in the postseason, though there's been no indication that Hepburn will be available for the playoffs.
OutDonte DiVincenzo
MIN · SG
Achilles: DiVincenzo will have his surgery done by Dr. Martin O'Malley, the same surgeon who repaired the torn right Achilles of Jayson Tatum in May of 2025. The fact that the procedure is taking place within 24 hours of DiVincenzo's injury should help with the recovery, though it would be unfair to expect the veteran guard to return as quickly as Tatum did, which took approximately 10 months for the latter. It seems more likely that DiVincenzo will miss the entire 2026-27 season, though if he does progress enough to return, it wouldn't be until late in the regular season. The Timberwolves will also be without Anthony Edwards (knee) for multiple weeks, so the team will turn to Ayo Dosunmu, Mike Conley and Bones Hyland to carry more of the load for the rest of the postseason.
OutImmanuel Quickley
TOR · PG
Hamstring: Quickley has suffered a setback with his right hamstring strain amid the rehab process and won't be available at any point during the quarterfinals. The sixth-year guard would now need the Raptors to advance to the second round of the playoffs in order to have a chance to return in 2025-26. With Quickley on the shelf, Jamal Shead should continue to start at point guard while Ja'Kobe Walter sees a boost in usage in the backcourt.
