Shoulder: Flagg took a hard fall during the second quarter of the Mavericks' win against the Pacers on Friday. He was already ruled out for Saturday's game against the Spurs, but it looks like the 2025 first-overall pick will miss at least a couple of more games while recovering from his injury. Naji Marshall, Marcus Sasser and Zaccharie Risacher figure to be the top candidates to enter Dallas' starting five for as long as Flagg is sidelined.

Foot: Lively underwent right foot surgery last December and remains without a clear timetable to return. The big man can be considered week-to-week until the Mavericks offer an update on his status. In the meantime, Moussa Cisse and Morez Johnson are candidates for increased minutes.

Knee: The Mavericks are taking a cautious approach with Irving since he's played only a few games since returning from the ACL injury he sustained in March last year, so it's not surprising to see him out for rest. His next chance to play will come against the Heat on Monday, and in the meantime, Marcus Sasser is expected to replace him in the backcourt against the Spurs.

Knee: Aldama continues to ramp up in his recovery from a right knee procedure that he underwent in March. His next chance to make his 2026-27 debut is Monday against the Heat, but he should be considered week-to-week until his practice participation increases.

Heel: Biberovic has been recovering from right heel bursitis stemming from training camp in mid-October. He'll end up missing the first three games of the regular season, and he can be considered week-to-week until the Mavericks provide a clearer timetable for the 2023 second-rounder.
