Suns vs Warriors

Jimmy Butler

GS · SF

Knee: Butler, who underwent surgery after suffering the injury Jan. 19, has progressed to individual court work but still has several rehabilitation milestones to clear. His next step involves landing comfortably after a game-speed jump. Coach Steve Kerr is hopeful Butler can rejoin Golden State for the latter portion of the season, though no official return date has been announced. The 37-year-old forward remains a significant part of the Warriors' plans and could provide a substantial boost during the second half of the campaign.

Kristaps Porzingis

GS · C

Illness: Porzingis is reportedly contemplating his future in basketball as he continues to battle health issues that have plagued him for nearly two years. Golden State isn't expecting the veteran center to rejoin the team anytime soon, and his contract structure could make him an attractive trade piece despite the uncertainty surrounding his playing future. With no timetable for his return and retirement potentially on the table, Porzingis remains a highly speculative fantasy stash, even in leagues with injured reserve spots.

Mark Williams

PHO · C

Shoulder: This is a tough blow for the center with training camp right around the corner. With his status for Opening Night in jeopardy, this will put a lot of eyes on Oso Ighodaro and Khaman Maluach, with the latter already drawing buzz during the Summer League. More clarity on Williams' timeline should be known in the coming weeks.

Moses Moody

GS · SG

Knee: Moody has been limited to individual court work, but team sources indicate he's ahead of Jimmy Butler (knee) in the rehabilitation process and is expected to return before the veteran forward. The 24-year-old still has several recovery checkpoints to complete, and Golden State has not established an official timetable. His eventual return would help replenish a Warriors wing rotation that will open the season without both Moody and Butler.
