Alex Caruso
OKC · SF
Ankle: With Caruso already ruled out for Wednesday's game in Dallas due to an ankle sprain, it sounds like the veteran forward could remain sidelined beyond a one-game absence. That would leave Oklahoma City without one of its key rotation wings for at least the near term, which could force Jared McCain into a big role for the banged-up Thunder.
- Out
Bradley Beal
LAC · SG
Knee: Beal is dealing with knee inflammation that will keep him sidelined for Opening Night. While it's unclear how long the Clippers will be without the veteran guard, Darius Garland, Keaton Wagler and Kris Dunn should dominate the backcourt minutes in his absence. Beal's 2025-26 campaign was cut short by a hip injury after he averaged 8.2 points and 1.7 assists in 20.6 minutes across just six regular-season appearances.
- Out
Brandon Ingram
LAC · SF
Achilles: Ingram has yet to make his season debut while recovering from a partially torn Achilles, though he's seemingly getting closer to a return to action. In the meantime, Gradey Dick and Kobe Sanders will likely continue seeing increased burn.
- Out
Cason Wallace
OKC · SG
Shoulder: Wallace is expected to miss most, if not all, of the season. However, there's still a chance he will return late in the campaign after sustaining the shoulder injury in Sunday's win over the Clippers. With Jalen Williams (leg) also set to be re-evaluated before the end of the regular season, Alex Caruso (ankle) should see significant playing time once cleared to return. In the meantime, Jared McCain, Bennett Stirtz and Josh Dix are expected to see increased burn.
- Out
Chet Holmgren
OKC · PF
Knee: This is another massive blow to an Oklahoma City squad that's already set to be without Jalen Williams (leg) and Cason Wallace (shoulder) for most, if not all, of the season. With Holmgren sidelined, Kenrich Williams, Jaylin Williams and Aday Mara are all candidates to see increased playing time. Two-way player Brooks Barnhizer could also see more minutes.

Jalen Williams
OKC · SF
Leg: Williams suffered the injury during Sunday's meeting with the Clippers and was taken off the court on a stretcher. It's unknown when the 25-year-old will be cleared to return, though the Thunder will presumably be overly cautious moving forward. Williams, who signed a five-year extension in July of 2025, has had a productive career, averaging 17.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.3 steals over 30.9 minutes per contest. However, after playing at least 69 regular-season games in his first three years in the league, he has appeared in just 36 in the last two seasons combined. With the Thunder having one of the deepest rosters in the NBA, the team may look for more minutes from Jared McCain, Jaylin Williams, and Kenrich Williams for the remainder of the 2026-27 campaign.
- Out
Jordan Miller
LAC · SG
Shoulder: It's a tough break for Miller, who had an opportunity to battle for a reserve role during training camp in the fall. The timeline for a return is likely to keep him on the shelf until after the All-Star break. Miller's extended stay on the sidelines gives Kobe Sanders a chance to crack the Clippers' rotation.
- Out
Max Strus
LAC · SG
Foot: Strus sustained a partially torn plantar fascia in his right foot in the Clippers' preseason opener but is seemingly nearing a return to game action. Keaton Wagler and Kobe Sanders will likely continue seeing increased playing time for as long as Strus and Brandon Ingram (Achilles) are sidelined.
- Out
Nikola Topic
OKC · PG
Back: Topic has yet to play this season, and per standard Thunder protocol, Oklahoma City has not released any updates on where he is in his rehab. He should be viewed as week-to-week moving forward.
- Out
Thomas Sorber
OKC · C
Knee: Sorber is still without a firm timetable for a return to game action. He can be considered week-to-week until the Thunder provide an update on his progress.
- Out
Yanic Konan Niederhauser
LAC · C
Foot: With Niederhauser still working back from a foot injury, this move is more about the Clippers' long-term roster planning than any immediate status change. It keeps the young center under team control beyond this season, which was the expectation after Los Angeles spent a first-round pick on Niederhauser a year ago.
