Nuggets vs Pelicans

Alpha Diallo

DEN · SF

Personal: Diallo will miss a fourth consecutive contest while attending to a personal matter. He's also dealing with a right wrist sprain. The 29-year-old's next opportunity to return to action will come Monday against the Trail Blazers.

Jordan Poole

NO · PG

Ankle: Poole will miss a second straight game due to a sprained left ankle. His next chance to suit up will come Monday at Memphis. Bennedict Mathurin and Herbert Jones are candidates for increased playing time in Poole's absence.

Julian Strawther

DEN · SF

Knee: Strawther suffered the injury in Wednesday's preseason game against the Clippers. The 24-year-old has appeared in 172 regular-season games for the Nuggets since entering the league in 2023, averaging 7.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists over 16.2 minutes per contest. He was in line to compete for an expanded role during the 2026-27 campaign. While that may be the case once Strawther is cleared to suit up, Tyus Jones and potentially Ryan Nembhard are candidates to receive more minutes in the interim.

Spencer Jones

DEN · SF

Hamstring: Jones is reportedly progressing in his recovery, though there's still no firm timetable for his return to game action. He can be considered week-to-week until the Nuggets provide an update on his status.

Yves Missi

NO · C

Knee: Missi sustained a bone bruise in his left knee during the 120-119 loss to Utah on Oct. 23. The 22-year-old hasn't played since, and considering he doesn't have a definitive return date, he should be considered week-to-week. Without Missi on the floor, DeAndre Jordan, Derik Queen and Karlo Matkovic could all see more action, though it appears none of them are a lock to take over the interim starting center job at the moment.
