In her absence, Odyssey Sims, Alanna Smith and Alysha Clark have seen increased roles, and that trend will likely continue down the stretch as the Wings compete for a playoff berth.

Brittney Griner

Knee: Griner is sitting out the regular-season finale due to a knee injury. The veteran center was limited to 18 appearances this year, and she's set for unrestricted free agency this offseason.

Costanza Verona

Personal: Verona is signed to a developmental contract, so she has only appeared in one regular-season game for Dallas during the 2026 campaign. She will now head overseas, where she will suit up for the Italian National Team for the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup. It's unknown whether Verona will be back with the Wings, though her departure will allow the team to sign another player to a developmental deal.

Kennedy Burke

Shoulder: With Connecticut eliminated from playoff contention, Burke is sitting out the remaining four games on the schedule with an eye toward next season. Her absence should allow Nell Angloma and Aaliyah Edwards to handle more playing time. Burke averaged a career-high 8.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest in 37 games this season.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa

Knee: Nelson-Ododa is sidelined for the regular-season finale with a knee injury. She has one more year left on her deal after averaging a career-high 10.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists for the Sun in 2026.

Rayah Marshall

Knee: Marshall suffered a knee injury shortly after checking in and won't be able to continue in this one. Nell Angloma could see a few more minutes in Marshall's absence.

Saniya Rivers
