Wings vs Sparks

Injuries 7

Aaliyah Nye
LA · G
Ankle: Nye will end the campaign with a third consecutive absence due to a left ankle injury. She'll finish the season having averaged 1.0 points in 2.8 minutes per contest across 20 regular-season outings between Los Angeles and Atlanta.
Out
Alanna Smith
DAL · F
Lower Leg: Smith will miss the entirely of the first round while nursing a lower leg injury suffered during the FIBA World Cup. Maddy Siegrist and Alysha Clark will once again be asked to step up with Smith sidelined.
Out
Azzi Fudd
DAL · G
Knee: Fudd has been sidelined since early August due to her ongoing right knee soreness, and she'll undergo a procedure that will ultimately end her rookie season. Across 30 regular-season appearances (24 starts) this year, she averaged 13.1 points, 1.8 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 31.7 minutes per game. In her absence, Odyssey Sims, Alanna Smith and Alysha Clark have seen increased roles, and that trend will likely continue down the stretch as the Wings compete for a playoff berth.
Out
Cameron Brink
LA · F
Ankle: Brink missed the last two games but will now be sidelined for the Sparks' final game of the season. The 24-year-old averaged a career-best 9.5 points along with 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.8 blocks over 19.2 minutes per contest in 31 regular-season games, including one start, throughout the 2026 campaign.
Out
Costanza Verona
DAL · G
Personal: Verona is signed to a developmental contract, so she has only appeared in one regular-season game for Dallas during the 2026 campaign. She will now head overseas, where she will suit up for the Italian National Team for the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup. It's unknown whether Verona will be back with the Wings, though her departure will allow the team to sign another player to a developmental deal.
Out
Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda
LA · G
Coach's Decision: Mwenentanda has appeared in her team's last two games, but she'll be shut down for the Sparks' final game of the 2026 campaign. She played in seven games across stops in LA and Golden State this season.
Out
Shyanne Sellers
LA · G
Coach's Decision: Sellers will take a seat for the season finale despite being left off the injury report initially. She appeared in two games for the Sparks after signing a developmental contract in late August.
