Storm vs Aces

Ezi Magbegor

SEA · F

Lower Leg: out

Katie Lou Samuelson

SEA · F

Knee: Seattle's frontcourt takes another hit after losing Ezi Magbegor to a torn ACL on Thursday. Samuelson had a delayed start to the year due ACL surgery recovery, averaging 4.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 15.3 minutes per contest over 32 games this season. The Storm should lean more heavily on Stefanie Dolson, Mackenzie Holmes and Taylor Thierry the rest of the way.

NaLyssa Smith

LV · F

Leg: It's a big blow for the defending-champion Aces ahead of the postseason. Smith started all 38 of her appearances for Las Vegas, so a spot in the first unit is now open. Brianna Turner appears to the most likely candidate to replace Smith in the starting lineup going forward.

Taina Mair

SEA · G

Coach's Decision: Mair will sit out Seattle's season finale. The developmental player will finish her rookie season with averages of 1.3 points and 0.5 assists in 5.1 minutes per game across 10 regular-season outings.

Zia Cooke

SEA · G

Knee: Cooke will end the 2026 campaign with a third consecutive absence due to a right knee injury. She'll also finish the season having averaged career-high marks in points (7.5), rebounds (1.7) and assists (1.1) across 15.0 minutes per game in 41 regular-season appearances (one start). She's set to enter restricted free agency this offseason.
